Thailand is located in Southeast Asia and is the gateway to Indochina with a territory covering an area of some 513,115 square kilometres. about 1,620 kilometres from north to south and 775 kilometres from east to west.

Thailand shares border with Laos in the north and northeast, with Myanmar in the north and west, with Cambodia in the east. Andaman Sea is in the southwest and Gulf of Thailand is in the southeast of kingdom. Population is 65 millions.
